"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty" (Psalm 91:1)

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as In Christ God forgave you."
Ephesians 4: 32

This is Christ's law of forgiveness as taught in the Gospels (Matthew 6:14, 15; Mark 11:25). We also see it in the Lord's Prayer----"Forgive us our debtors (trespassers), as we also have forgiven our debtors (trespassers)." (Luke 11:4) God does not forgive us because we forgive others, but solely because of his great mercy, however, we will want to be like him. Having received forgiveness, we will pass it on to others. Those who are unwilling to forgive have not become one with Christ, who was willing to forgive even those who crucified him. (Luke 23:34)

So in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.  Romans 12: 5-8
